What is it?

The new Celtic FC International Development Academy has been designed and constructed to provide football clubs, league associations and national governing bodies around the globe the opportunity to develop a working relationship with the Celtic Youth Academy and have unique access to coaching intellect and key members of staff. Partnerships are developed upon some or all of the following key elements;

Coach Education

Working with elite / playing squads

Opportunity for players and coaches to train with Celtic Youth Academy

Celtic Soccer Camps

Talent ID Camps

Trips and Tournaments to UK

Residential Camps

Coach and Player Pathway

Chief Executive Peter Lawwell said "Celtic was formed to help an immigrant community in need and in the 120 years since the club's formation, a charitable spirit and openness has characterised the club. These are qualities which will always symbolise Celtic and initiatives such as this, are hugely important to Celtic in promoting these positive messages.

"We look forward to working together, to fostering new relationships, and to welcoming coaches and players from around the world to Scotland and Celtic Football Club"

Head of Youth Chris McCart added, "We have put together a structure within the Celtic Youth Academy that we feel is as good, if not better, than any other Youth Academy in the World. Our coaches are dedicated to player and squad development, whilst our scouts do an incredible job to bring us the very players to work with"

The Celtic International Academy Programme now gives you and your Club the opportunity to be part of the ever growing Celtic family."

When is it?

This programme is a year round partnership with regular contact made via, email, telephone call and video conference call. All club members will receive a monthly e-newsletter updating them on what is going on at Celtic FC and upcoming events.
