Thursday 4th March 2010: Celtic Charity Fund Sporting Dinner
Our 2010 event will take place in the Kerrydale Suite on Thursday 4th March and tables are now on sale. It will be an evening of top class entertainment with live music, after dinner act and an auction and raffle - hosted by the inimitable Andy Cameron - with some wonderful prizes on offer.
The main beneficiary charity is the Tommy Burns Skin Cancer Trust which aims to raise the profile and awareness of skin cancer and help in its prevention. It was set up by Tommy's daughters, Jenna and Emma: "When Dad passed away the tributes and messages of support were so overwhelming that it almost didn't seem real, it still doesn't. To see the streets of the city lined with people paying their respects to someone we simply knew as 'Dad' was quite surreal. It was then we thought we should give something back and went about setting up this charity in his name. The backing of Celtic Charity Fund and its supporters is a Godsend."
The cost for a table of 10 - £800 - has been held at the same level for the third year in a row. To reserve your place, download the booking form here or contact Jane Maguire on 0141 551 4262 or email janemaguire@celticfc.co.uk
